What is an Into Film Club?

Synopsis

Cinephile teen Greg actively refuses social bonds in high school- preferring instead to noncommittally dip in and out of all the major cliques. The closest thing he has to a friend is his ‘co-worker’ Earl, with whom he creates fantastically homespun homages to their favourite arthouse films. However his lifestyle of comfortably coasting without any of the usual teen melodrama is threatened when his mother forces him to become friends with Rachel, a classmate who has recently been diagnosed with leukaemia. Despite the initial awkwardness of their contrived friendship, Greg can’t help but become closer to Rachel than he’d planned, and dealing with the threat of her potential loss throws him and his creativity off-course.
